Digital Mailroom Automation at BKB with DocProStar

Basler Kantonalbank (BKB) is a Swiss universal bank owned by the Canton of Basel-Stadt, and one of the ten largest Swiss banks in terms of total assets.

BKB selected DocProStar from TCG Process for more efficient, automated processing of incoming mail.

In the first phase, all incoming mail, on paper or by email, is digitized for all credit/mortgage-related documents. Automatic classification assigns the correct document type and the correct customer record is assigned using master data lookups. The solution was further extended to not only classify and assign documents, but also to capture and validate all relevant processing from the inbound content, including handling multi-language documents with translation to a common language.
